DESCRIPTION:Do you remember the Lorax and “I speak for the trees”? Get a little closer to Lorax level via a program by Certified Urban Community Forester\, Rooted Power Collective Program Manager\, and Climate Smart Forestry Program Specialist with the US Department of Agriculture Forest Service Trinity Barnes. Trinity will will lead a tree-focused walk and a forest bathing session (learn more about the concept here). Closed-toe shoes\, mosquito repellent\, and water are suggested; bring a chair or blanket for forest bathing. NPI announcements\, business\, and a plant-sharing session will follow.
