NPI Meeting – Discover Green Infrastructure

The Pontchartrain Conservancy, Louisiana State University, and NPI join forces to share the ins and outs of green infrastructure, the use of plants, soil, and thoughtful design to manage water and improve urban environments. Talks in the library meeting room will be followed by a guided tour of the bioswale at the northwest corner of North Claiborne Avenue and Laharpe Street; the bioswale is about 1/2 mile from the library. As always, anyone and everyone (NPI member or not) is welcome to attend the meeting and to share native plants and seeds.
