Open house at the Iris Island Nursery

The Open House at the Iris Island Nursery, inside City Park, is the event we point to all year. An acre of blooming Louisiana iris cultivars and species! You can’t see a sight like this anywhere else! 10 AM – 4 PM,
Saturday, April 12. Free!
We need some member help with the Open House. At 8 AM before visitors come at 10
AM, we need people to help deadhead the irises. It is just a matter of pinching off the
spent flowers. The display will look immensely better for visitors. It’s a quick, easy task but
we have a lot of space to cover!
